Tables at Nitida was opened in November 2010 as a Café and restaurant for the curious wine connoisseur looking for a pairing for their wine. We have since matured into a Family Bistro which has become our visitors’ favourite breakfast and lunch spot, with breakfast dishes such as our Brioche French toast served with caramelized bananas, chopped walnuts and streaky bacon or for a breakaway lunch, try our crispy wraps, scrumptious salads or mouth-watering home-made burger.

Cassia Canon Firing

The Nitida Cannon Station is situated at our wine farm at the foot of Hoogenberg in the Durbanville Wine Valley, Cape Town, South Africa. Erick, Jürg and Jacobus (The Team) run and manage the cannon station. Members of the team with support from the Friends of Nitida Cannon Station (FONCS), refurbish, preserve and maintain these historial cannon, not only for the current generation, but also for generations to come.
